Squad Supremacy Tournament Rules & Format

Everything you need to know about how we play and how to win.

Team & Starting Format
  • •Teams of 3 players.
  • •Scramble format: all players tee off, select the best shot, and all play from that spot until the ball is holed.
  • •4 teams per hole shotgun start to ensure pace of play.
Stableford Scoring System

Points are awarded per hole:

  • Double Bogey or worse0 Points
  • Bogey1 Point
  • Par2 Points
  • Birdie3 Points
  • Eagle4 Points
  • Albatross / Hole-in-One5 Points

The Stableford system ensures that you don't always need the lowest score to win skins and rewards aggressive play.

Drive Requirement

5 Drive Maximum Rule:

  • •Each player may hit a maximum of 5 tee shots throughout the round.
  • •Par 3s do not count toward the total.
  • •Once a player reaches their limit, they cannot tee off again for the rest of the round.
Skins Format
  • •1 Skin per hole.
  • •No carryovers: if multiple teams tie for the best score on a hole, no skin is awarded for that hole.
  • •Teams with the most skins in their group at the end of regulation qualify for the playoff hole.
  • •Stableford points also act as a secondary path — teams earning minimal points can still qualify for the playoff hole.
Playoff Hole
  • •Format switches to Alternate Shot.
  • •Each team plays the same playoff hole; the team with the lowest score wins.
  • •If multiple teams tie, they repeat the same hole until one winner is crowned.
Par 3 Side Challenges
  • •Each Par 3 hole features a side challenge (e.g., closest to the pin, longest putt, etc.).
  • •Winners of side challenges earn bonus points added to their team's overall Stableford total to help with playoff qualification.
